I once went out with my Dad to watch how he sold to his clients. After quite a bit of chat about football, I wondered if we were ever going to get to the product, he then casually asked his customer what she required. She wanted some replacement windows, she described what she wanted. But quick as a flash my Dad said no. He advised her that he’d worked out the view from her window whilst they had been chatting and the best way to enhance that view would be his suggestion. I remember how delighted the lady was and of course she purchased that which my Dad had suggested.
